A desrt [SANDBOX] is an open-world post-apocalyptic survival game on Roblox developed by DarkCodes studio where players assemble a broken car in a garage, find fuel, and drive into a procedurally generated desert wasteland with no objectives other than to survive as long as possible. Launched in March 2025 and explicitly inspired by the PC game "The Long Drive," it reached 125 million visits within roughly a year - exceptional growth for the vehicle-survival subgenre. The intentionally misspelled title is a branding choice by the developer.

Players spawn in a garage with a disassembled car and must locate and install components to make it drivable. Once on the road, the world generates endlessly in whichever direction you drive - ruins, abandoned buildings, zombie-populated zones, and resource caches all appear procedurally, ensuring no two sessions cover the same ground. Managing fuel is the central survival constraint, forcing constant exploration of ruins to keep moving:

Up to 100 players can share a server - the largest server cap in the vehicle-survival genre, enabling co-op driving and scavenging with large groups of friends. Solo play is equally supported as a pure single-player sandbox. The Sandbox+ pass expands gameplay options, while the cheap Boombox+ pass lets players play custom music IDs during their run.
