Bite By Night

Bite By Night is an asymmetrical horror survival game on Roblox by totally not secret games, launched in July 2025 and currently one of the most-played games on the platform with 70,000-100,000 concurrent players. The game accumulated 234.2 million visits in under a year - one of the fastest growth trajectories in Roblox horror history. It currently carries a beta label and is actively developed, with the most recent update in April 2026. Each server holds exactly 9 players structured as a 1v8 match.

The format is asymmetrical horror: one player takes the Killer role while the remaining eight are Survivors. The two sides have completely different goals and mechanics, creating a tense cat-and-mouse dynamic:

• ⚔️ Killer - hunt down all Survivors before they escape or survive to 6 AM; must track and eliminate targets while Survivors scatter and complete objectives
• 🎭 Survivors - complete objectives scattered across the map, stick together to avoid being picked off alone, and endure until 6 AM to win
• ⏳ Day/night cycle - the 6 AM timer creates a countdown pressure that pushes Survivors to stay active rather than simply hide
• 🏆 Objectives - Survivors have goals beyond survival, requiring movement and coordination that exposes them to the Killer

The game is recommended with max graphics and headphones for full immersion. The current title tag reflects the Technician update or season, adding a themed mechanic to the base 1v8 format. The game supports PC, mobile, and console.

Bite By Night sits in the same genre as Dead by Daylight-style asymmetric games and is one of Roblox's defining entries in that space. Its beta status means mechanics and content continue to evolve with each update cycle.
