Abyss Codes

First, complete the Kraken's introductory tutorial quest - catching a Clownfish, Tang, and Blue Tang - before attempting to redeem any codes. The game locks code redemption until the tutorial is finished. After completing the tutorial, click the Cog (gear) button at the top-left of the screen to open the Settings menu. At the bottom of the Settings menu, tap or click the Enter code field, type your code, and confirm. Codes are case-sensitive and single-use per account.

Codes reward Star Shards (the most valuable reward - the premium currency for race rerolls and second race slot), Oxygen Pods (emergency air supply), Speed Potions (temporary tube speed boost), Drop Luck Potions (increase rare fish mutation chance), and Octopus Feed (Kraken feeding item). Star Shard codes are the most sought-after given how expensive the race system is - a standard reroll costs 100 shards, and a lucky reroll with better Rare+ odds costs 450.

Codes are announced in the #abyss-codes channel of the Deep Spirit Games Discord server (discord.gg/deepspirit, 30,000+ members). Since the game is in active beta development, code frequency is moderate - expect drops tied to update milestones, new biome launches, and seasonal events. Redeem codes promptly as they expire between major updates.
