Action!

Action! is a collaborative movie-making game on Roblox created by verified developer SirMing in 2017, built around producing short films together rather than generic roleplay. Players take on specialized production roles - Actor, Technician, Director, or Celebrity - shoot scenes as a small crew of up to 14, and screen the finished results for the server in an in-game theater. With over 77 million visits and 625,000 favorites, it carved out a niche that no other Roblox game has replicated: a structured film production experience where the output is real community-made content.

Sessions form naturally around the server's compact size. Fourteen players is a film crew, not a crowd, and the intimacy drives genuine creative collaboration. The major roles and systems that shape every production include:

Action! occupies a genre entirely of its own on Roblox. SirMing's newer game Rec It follows a similar creative video theme and is linked directly from Action!'s description as its spiritual successor, suggesting the concept lives on even as Action! itself entered maintenance mode after its last update in January 2024.
