About Anime Playground
Anime Playground is an offense-focused anime battlegrounds game on Roblox developed by Anime Towers, inspired by Jujutsu Shenanigans and Slap Battles. Launched in July 2025 and now on Update 9, it has crossed 9.2 million visits with a 91.6% approval rating. The game's defining design choice is the complete removal of blocking - every encounter is a test of ability usage and raw offense, with no defensive counterplay beyond dashing.
Players earn Yen through PvP combat and spend it on acquiring abilities, pulling from gacha Spins, and buying Crates for direct ability access. The open arena runs 18 players per server, making every session active and chaotic:
- ⚔️ Abilities - over two dozen anime-inspired moves drawn from Jujutsu Kaisen, Naruto, Bleach, and Dragon Ball, including Lapse Blue, Rasengan, Chidori, Black Flash, Kamehameha, and Getsuga Tenshou
- 💎 Spins - random ability selection purchased with Yen; a chance at high-tier moves without buying directly
- 💰 Crates - purchasable loot containers offering random abilities for players who prefer direct acquisition over spinning
- 🏆 Mutations - a deeper progression system unlocked by accumulating Yen and materials, adding permanent power layers on top of raw ability loadouts
Combat yields 10 Yen per kill and 2 Yen per successful M1 hit, so active fighters progress faster than passive ones. Players under 25 kills take 25% less damage from veterans, giving beginners room to learn the ability system without being immediately deleted. The F key activates a Dash - the only defensive tool in a game built entirely around aggression.
Anime Playground sits alongside Jujutsu Shenanigans as one of Roblox's most accessible anime ability sandboxes for players who want a diverse move pool without blocking mechanics slowing the pace.
