Anime Showdown

Anime Showdown (also known as Anime X Showdown or AXS) is a battlegrounds-style PvP fighting game on Roblox developed by MelonRevenue, launched in January 2022. Players choose from iconic anime characters across multiple franchises - Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Bleach, Hunter x Hunter, Demon Slayer, and more - and fight in 8-player arena matches. With over 21 million visits, 219K favorites, a Fandom wiki at animexshowdown.fandom.com, and a Discord community exceeding 112,000 members, it holds a strong position in the Roblox anime fighting genre.

The combat system is more technical than most Roblox fighters. Every special move costs Move Meter (the blue bar at the top of the screen), which you recover by holding C to charge or landing M1 basic attacks. Managing Move Meter separates skilled players from button mashers. The game's key combat systems include:

• ⚔️ Move Meter - blue resource bar required for all special moves; recovered by charging or basic attacks
• 🏆 Armor system - Super Armor absorbs 50% damage; Hyper Armor absorbs 100%; Armor Break moves cancel both

AFK World provides a passive idle farming mode where Coins and XP accumulate automatically. Premium players earn double base rewards there. Major characters including Luffy, Goku, and Sasuke are confirmed for future addition to the roster.

Codes reward Coins, Gems, XP, and occasionally Chests, helping players unlock new characters faster. The game's most important quirk for new players: codes use a chat command (!redeem) rather than a menu button. Anime Showdown plays closest to Anime Battlegrounds X in terms of genre position.
