Ant War

Ant War is a PvP colony-warfare game on Roblox developed by the Chylan group, launched in October 2022 and running at 500 to 2,000 concurrent players. Players join one of multiple competing ant colonies and fight in real-time to eliminate rival queens and claim dominance. Unlike ant roleplay games, Ant War is built around structured team combat with a clear win condition - making it closer to a team PvP battle game than a simulation. With 81.5 million visits and an 88.4% approval rating, it has established itself as the leading action game in the insect-combat genre on Roblox.

The objective is simple but creates layered strategy: protect your own queen while hunting down enemy queens on the other side of the map. The dig mechanic is central to how this plays out - tunneling creates pathways for colony members and can be used to approach enemies from unexpected angles. Players choose attack styles suited to their role:

• ⚔️ Mandibles - the standard melee bite for up-close combat against rival ants
• ⚔️ Stinger - piercing attack effective against armored targets
• ⚔️ Acid - chemical attack dealing area damage or applying debuffs to groups of enemies

Ant War fills the action-combat side of the insect game genre that Ant Life approaches from a roleplay angle. Version v1.41 added the cosmetic system, and active development continued through April 2026.
