Arena Royale

Arena Royale is a real-time strategy game on Roblox developed by Shad Studios! that transforms Supercell's Clash Royale into a third-person combat experience. Rather than commanding cards from a top-down view, players become the card on the battlefield, choosing a unit and fighting to destroy enemy towers in live 14-player matches. Launched in April 2025 and reaching version 8 by early 2026, it has accumulated 21.9 million visits as Roblox's most-played Clash Royale adaptation.

Each session drops players into a two-sided arena where they select a Unit from the Clash Royale roster and compete to demolish the opposing team's Towers. Every match introduces the King mechanic and the Evolution System as the two strategic layers that push beyond the source material:

• ⚔️ Units - playable card characters including the Prince (a lance CHARGE through multiple enemies), Sparky (area SPLASH BLOW after charging), and Champion-class Boss Bandit with abilities beyond standard cards

• 💎 Evolution System - units evolve into stronger Evo variants using unit-specific Evolution Shards; Evo units meaningfully outperform their base forms in combat

• 🎭 King Mechanic - one randomly selected player per match gains control of Rage and Fireball Spells capable of swinging close fights; the role rotates every match
• ⚔️ Anti-Exploit Policy - permanent bans issued without appeal, except through the community Discord

The game's code naming history is unusually transparent: "EvolutionWizardBalanced" confirmed a nerf was applied, "NerfEvoFurnance" acknowledged another balance change, and "SorryForShutdowns" and "SORRYALL" were compensation drops - making the code archive a readable patch history. The Arena Royale Discord is the primary source for new codes during updates.

Arena Royale occupies a unique position on Roblox as a competitive Clash Royale adaptation, offering a distinctly different experience from pure tower defense games like Tower Defense Simulator while sharing the same strategic foundation.
