Baboon Tag X is a tag party game on Roblox developed by Scary baboon Fans! and built around the viral "Scary Baboon" internet meme. Players run, jump, and climb across 10 distinct maps trying to avoid being tagged, while the designated Lava Baboon - the transformed "it" role - chases down everyone before the round timer runs out. Launched in October 2025, it accumulated over 76 million visits rapidly on the meme's organic reach and draws 1,500-3,000 concurrent players. The game is currently in a testing phase, with a formal Beta planned once development reaches 50% completion.

Each round begins with one or more players assigned as Lava Baboon. Regular players use the map's parkour geometry - running, jumping, and climbing across varied terrain - to stay clear. Any player who gets tagged transforms into Lava Baboon themselves and joins the chase. Surviving players earn Coins for lasting until the timer expires. Coins are spent in a cosmetics shop to customize appearance between rounds, with hats and style items available. Servers hold up to 21 players, creating a lively multi-hunter experience across the 10 maps:
