Backstretch Battles is a NASCAR-inspired straight-line racing game on Roblox developed by the Backstretch Battles group, centered on the physics of drafting, pack racing, and wrecking across multiple oval tracks. Launched in July 2020, it has built a massive following with 88.6M+ visits, 319.8K+ favorites, and 500-1,000 concurrent players - establishing itself as the go-to NASCAR simulation experience on the platform.

The defining mechanic is drafting: following closely behind another car reduces air resistance and grants a speed boost.
