Be Worm Or Guard

Be Worm Or Guard is an asymmetric survival game launched in March 2026 by basic pro games, where players choose between two factions: Guards defending a secret research facility from a deadly worm flu outbreak, or Worms trying to infect the Guards and take over the facility. The game is inspired by Piggy and asymmetric infection-survival games, and drew 300-1,000 concurrent players within weeks of launch despite being only a month old at profile creation.

The game design creates two fundamentally different playstyles. Guards rely on coordination, firepower, and structural defense:

• ⚔️ Armor and guns - gear up with equipment and upgrade weapons to hold the facility against waves of infection
• ⚔️ Special Forces - deploy elite units for worst-case worm scenarios and coordinated pushes
• ⚔️ Power outage response - manage environmental hazards that cut guard defenses and create vulnerability windows
• 🎭 Lab experiments - conduct tests on captured worms in the facility's research laboratory

Worms take a completely different approach, relying on stealth, infection chains, and boss escalation:

• 🎭 Infection spreading - infect Guards to convert the facility one by one through the Worm Flu mechanic
• 🎭 Worm Boss - an elevated Worm form with stronger takeover abilities and higher combat power

Ten gamepasses provide faction-specific benefits: Guards can access the Gold M96 rifle (299 R$) and Golden Turret (229 R$), while Worms gain from the 2X Boss Chance pass (199 R$). A 2X Damage Stat Gain pass (149 R$) and Guard Pass (149 R$) round out the monetization. Updates are milestone-tied at every 1,000 Likes, giving the community a direct role in driving new content.
