Breath Selection

Breath Selection is a Demon Slayer-inspired PvP fighting game on Roblox developed by EOM STUDIO, launched in March 2023. Players choose from multiple breathing styles - the signature combat disciplines of the Demon Slayer universe - and fight other players using each style's unique ability set. The game accumulated 38.7 million visits and 71.5K favorites with an 87.5% approval rating before EOM STUDIO shifted development focus to their newer title, Slayer Battlegrounds, in 2025.

The core decision in Breath Selection is picking the right breathing style for your combat approach and mastering its moveset in open PvP. Players earn Gold from fights to unlock additional styles and experiment with different playstyles. Here is the full system:

• ⚔️ Breathing styles - Water Breathing (defensive, fluid movement attacks), Flame Breathing (aggressive, high damage), Thunder Breathing (high-speed dashes), Mist Breathing (evasive, mid-range), and additional styles from the Demon Slayer universe
• 💰 Gold - the primary currency earned through PvP combat and code rewards; used to unlock breathing styles, respins (re-rolling a style), and cosmetics
• 💼 Breath slots - the base game provides two equip slots for breathing styles; a third slot is available via the Breath Slot 3 gamepass (299R$)
• 🏆 Daily tasks - a daily objectives system providing regular rewards; the Daily Tasks X2 gamepass doubles all task rewards for consistent grinders
• 🎭 Kill Restore mechanic - getting kills in PvP restores HP, encouraging aggressive play; doubled by the Kill Restore HP X2 gamepass
• 💎 16-player servers - focused open PvP with no co-op or PvE mode; pure style-versus-style combat

As of September 2025, the game has not received updates and EOM STUDIO's description now explicitly promotes Slayer Battlegrounds as the studio's current main project with full PC, console, and mobile support.

Breath Selection remains playable and both active codes (slayerbg and 5hp52b4) continue to award Gold for new players starting their collection.
