About Broken Bones - Ragdoll Sim
Broken Bones - Ragdoll Sim is the fourth entry in Zaquille's long-running Broken Bones series on Roblox, originally dating back to 2009. Solo developer Zaquille built this installment in 2018, and the game has since surpassed 1.45 billion visits - placing it among the most-played experiences in Roblox history. The game runs 400-800 concurrent players and earned a Sixth Annual Bloxy Award. It is credited by the developer as the original ragdoll simulator on the platform.
Players jump off cliffs, ramps, and obstacle courses to accumulate bone breaks, earn Cash, and unlock new levels and upgrades. The physics-driven collision system tracks each limb independently, with the default cap at 206 bones (removable with the Unlimited Breaks pass). The progression loop rewards experimentation with the map and powerups:
- โ๏ธ Bone breaking - ragdoll physics damage accumulates per limb, with Breaks as the primary score metric
- ๐ฐ Cash earning - currency from bones broken and distance traveled, spent on upgrades and perks
- ๐บ๏ธ Classic Maps - a second game place preserving legacy maps from earlier entries in the series
- ๐ Level badges - milestones at Level 25, 50, and 100 track long-term player progression
- ๐ Perks - activatable powerups with cooldowns that enhance individual runs strategically
The perk system adds a layer of strategic depth beyond pure physics, and the Daily Bonus rewards returning players with Cash each session. Monetization is physics-modifier and economy-focused: the Double Gravity pass changes fall physics, Double Jointed removes the dislocations limit, and Infinite Cash (6,999 Robux) is the top-tier pass.
As the franchise predecessor to Broken Bones Biomes, this game offers a more focused, classic experience for players who discovered the series through the fifth entry or the Bloxy Award recognition.
