Build and Survive! Classic

Build and Survive! Classic is a fort-building wave-survival shooter on Roblox developed by BIG Games, originally created in April 2019. Players construct fortifications and then use weapons to survive enemy waves. With 179.3 million visits accumulated over six-plus years and 835,700 favorites, it represents one of the genre's foundational titles on Roblox. BIG Games - the studio behind Pet Simulator X - has moved on to newer projects, with the last update in August 2024. Servers hold up to 10 players.

The loop combines active shooting with passive base design. Players build a fort from available blocks, upgrade it between waves, and engage enemies directly with weapons when waves begin:

As of 2026, Build and Survive! Classic is in maintenance mode with essentially no concurrent players at most times. It retains search traffic and nostalgic visits from returning players. The actively developed Build and Survive by Rainy Creations! carries the genre forward with autosave, 2025-era mechanics, and an ongoing update cadence.
