Build It!

Build It! is a competitive building game on Roblox developed by Roblox Build It and created in July 2020, where players receive a random topic each round, race to build the best interpretation in under 8 minutes, then vote on each other's creations to crown a winner. With 77.6 million visits and 100-250 concurrent players across more than five years of operation, it is one of the longest-running building competition games on the platform.

The voting system is the heart of every round - after the build phase ends, all players in the server rate each other's creations, and the most-voted build wins. Speed, creativity, and visual clarity all matter because a simpler build that reads well at a glance often beats an elaborate unfinished one. The full set of modes and systems includes:

• 🏆 Build Battle - the core competitive mode: receive a random topic, build for up to 8 minutes, then enter the voting phase where everyone rates each other's work
• 🏠 Free-Build Mode - a private sandbox with no time limit, topic, or voting; supports saves and sharing
• 🏆 Pro Mode - unlocks after earning 10 wins, offering a higher-tier competitive layer for experienced builders
• 💎 Credits - the in-game currency earned through codes and gameplay, spent in the Store on plot decorations, wings, and plot color customizations
• 🎭 Elite gamepass (799 R$) - lets the owner pick the round topic every session and create custom codes for other players, plus the ELITE chat rank
• 🎭 VIP gamepass (129 R$) - unlocks special build effects (fire, smoke, sparkles, transparency), Golden VIP Wings, double Coins, and VIP chat rank

Progression is tracked through wins and Credits. The Store button on the right side of the screen opens the cosmetic shop where Credits are spent. A major monetization overhaul in September 2025 removed four older passes and replaced them with the Color Wheel (80 R$); players who owned the discontinued passes were refunded in Credits above the original purchase price.

Build It! competes in the same peer-voting building genre as Build & Battle: VS Brainrots but removes combat entirely, making creative interpretation and peer approval the only scoring mechanisms.
