Car Race

Car Race is a distance-based incremental arcade game on Roblox developed by push to start where players collect Gas, launch their car off a ramp onto an infinite track, and compete to set the highest distance record possible. Launched November 2022, it has accumulated 59.5 million visits and an exceptional 1.39 million favorites - a favorites-to-visits ratio that reflects strong repeat engagement with the core loop.

Each session follows the same satisfying rhythm: collect Gas scattered around the starting area, hit the Ramp to go airborne, then travel as far as possible before momentum runs out. The distance you achieve is your score, and your personal best is the long-term goal that keeps you returning. As you upgrade, each run pushes a little further than the last:

• ⛽ Gas collection - drive around the starting area before launch; more Gas means a faster starting velocity off the ramp
• 🚗 Ramp launch - the car goes airborne after hitting the ramp and travels down an infinite procedurally-generated track
• 🏆 Distance records - personal best distance is the primary score metric; global leaderboards track top performers
• 💎 Pets - collectible companions found during runs that provide passive boosts to distance and speed; they persist between runs and stack with car stats
• 🚗 Cars - each car has a base Speed stat and Distance multiplier; unlocking better cars raises the performance ceiling for every run
• 💰 Shop - the central upgrade hub accessed via the left-side button; where you buy cars and upgrade pets using Coins earned from runs

Coins are earned from runs based on distance traveled and spent in the Shop on new cars and pet upgrades. Pets and car quality compound over time, turning early incremental improvements into dramatic distance gains at higher tiers.

Car Race sits in the distance-incremental genre alongside Car Ramp Jump!, which uses a similar ramp-launch formula but adds a river-jump mechanic and crafting system on top.
