Cheese Tower Defense

Cheese Tower Defense is a mouse-and-cheese themed tower defense game on Roblox by Decent Games EXTREME that has crossed 100 million visits since launching in November 2023. Players deploy mouse-themed Units along enemy paths to stop waves of cheese-eating Gobblers from reaching the cheese stash. Matches support up to 4 cooperative players, run across five difficulty modes, and the 30-player server cap is unusually generous for the genre - allowing multiple 4-player groups to run parallel sessions on the same server.

The key differentiator from other Roblox tower defense titles is the gacha-style Unit acquisition: towers are earned through post-match loot drops rather than being freely purchasable. Difficulty selection is therefore a strategic choice that directly shapes which Units you can earn:

Cheese is the persistent meta-currency earned from completing matches. It funds new Unit crate openings, upgrades to Unit Power (a global stat that boosts all Units simultaneously), and cosmetic purchases. Cheddar is the separate in-match currency earned by defeating Gobblers and used to summon and upgrade Units during an active match. Weekend sessions double all Cheese earnings, making coordinated weekend play the most efficient farming strategy.
