About Clean a House
Clean a House is a cleaning simulator on Roblox by solo developer Cakeyy (@cakehunterman), launched July 2025 with 63.9M+ visits and 79.5K favorites - exceptional traction for a solo-built game in under nine months. Players scrub dirty houses for money, upgrade cleaning tools, expand to larger plots, and prevent rats from overrunning the property. The Friendship Update added cooperative play for up to 8 players per server.
The core loop is satisfying by design: enter a dirty house, clean every surface for cash, then reinvest earnings into better tools and a bigger plot. Progression is clearly staged:
- 💰 Money - sole currency; earned from cleaning every surface, spent on tools and plot upgrades
- 💼 Tools - the primary upgrade path; better mops and scrubbers dramatically increase cleaning speed and handle tougher messes
- 🏠 Plot Upgrades - unlock progressively larger houses with more surface area and higher payouts per job
- 🎭 Rats - pests that spawn and multiply if left alone; catching all rats at once is a badge achievement, and unchecked rats reduce effective earnings
- 💼 Workers - hireable helpers that automate portions of cleaning for an idle layer; obtainable via Worker Pack Crates
- ⏳ Seasonal Events - Events Tab lists active events; confirmed Halloween Quest and a branded Walmart House promotional event
Liking the game rewards bonus in-game currency through the built-in like system. Co-op play is the most efficient approach for the largest available houses - splitting tasks between 8 players reduces per-job time significantly. Cakeyy announces new content through the @cakehunterman Roblox profile and embeds codes directly in the game description when active.
Clean a House shares the satisfying cleaning progression loop with Cleaning Simulator, though it adds the rat mechanic, cooperative scaling, and seasonal events for a more dynamic experience.
