Clone Battles

Clone Battles is a real-time strategy game on Roblox by Box7! Why Not Have Fun Games, launched in November 2025. Players build and command a clone army, unlock different unit types, and fight to take over the map against other players. Currently in BETA with ongoing active development, it has reached 1.4 million visits. Server size is capped at 4 players, making most matches 1v1 or 2v2 encounters with tight, focused competition.

The gameplay is direct army management in real time. Coins fund expansion and unit unlocks; the objective is map domination through superior army deployment:

• ⚔️ Clone Units - deployable army members, each type filling a distinct combat role; the Pirates update added nautical-themed unit options to the roster
• 💰 Coins - earned from passive army activity, map control, and battle victories; the standard resource for army expansion and unit unlocks
• 💎 Gems - the premium currency from codes; used for special units, upgrades, or cosmetics that complement the Coin-funded army
• ⚔️ Map Domination - controlling more territory than opponents provides a strategic advantage; this is the primary victory condition
• 🏆 Army Cap - a maximum clone count exists; reaching that cap is the primary short-term goal in each match
• 🎭 Friend Invites - inviting a friend grants a Coin boost to both players, incentivizing group play within the 4-player server format

All progress saves between sessions, so army investment and unit unlocks carry forward into future matches. The BETA status means bugs should be expected - the developer acknowledges this and actively patches issues. Box7! also develops Christmas Race, bringing the same lightweight casual approach to both games.

Clone Battles occupies the lighter end of the RTS genre. Players who want a deeper army-building experience will find Clone Kingdom Tycoon offers a more structured tycoon progression on top of a similar army-command foundation.
