Color by number 2 is a BETA sequel to Color by number by developer group Smash Games Lab, launched in March 2024 and currently semi-active with its last update in July 2024. It builds on the original color-by-number formula with new layers including mythical brush collection, unlockable skills, cooperative power-up sharing, and an expanded drawing catalog. With 1.8 million visits and 12.9K favorites, it is a smaller game than its predecessor but offers meaningfully more mechanical depth.

The sequel introduces systems that reward dedicated coloring sessions:

Servers hold just 4 players, making it an even more intimate experience than the original. The BETA status means mechanics may still change. Color by number 2 is the better choice for players who want a deeper coloring experience with collection goals and skills. For the more stable, higher-traffic experience, the original Color by number remains the go-to option.
