Color Hide and Seek

Color Hide and Seek is a color-matching hide and seek game on Roblox developed by BlueBirdStudio, launched in March 2023. Players alternate between the Seeker and Hider roles across fast-paced rounds, with hiders racing to stand beside the correct colored block before the faster-moving Seeker closes in. With over 260 million visits and a consistent 200-800 concurrent players, it fuses two universally recognizable formats into a tense short-round experience.

Each round assigns one player as the Seeker and the rest must read their color prompt and react before being caught:

• ⚔️ The Seeker - assigned randomly each round, moves faster than all other players, and must tag hiders who have not reached the correct block
• 🗺️ Color blocks - the arena features colored platforms that hiders must stand beside to be safe from tagging
• 💎 Color prompt - a system message tells each hider which color block they need to reach before the Seeker arrives
• 🎭 Up to 14 players - mid-sized servers keep rounds active with enough players for competitive tension
• 💰 Coins - the in-game currency rewarded for surviving rounds, redeemable for cosmetics

Three portal passes - Blue, Green, and Red (each 399R$) - provide hiders with mobility tools to reach their target block faster. Rounds cycle quickly, giving every player frequent turns as both Seeker and Hider in a single session.

The appeal is the split-second decision-making: reading the color prompt, scanning the arena, and sprinting to safety before the Seeker reaches you creates genuine tension even in simple sessions. Color Hide and Seek sits alongside Color Block and similar color-reading games but adds the direct player-vs-player chase that tile-matching games lack.
