Cook Off is a competitive cooking simulation game on Roblox by Rochelin Star Games, launched November 2022 and in active beta development through 2026. Players race through structured multi-step dish preparation challenges against a timer and up to 9 other players, with each round scored on theme accuracy, ingredient selection, plate assembly, and presentation quality. At 15.8 million visits with consistent concurrent players, it occupies a more mechanically demanding corner of the Roblox cooking genre than pure restaurant sims.

Each round flows through four distinct steps that create room for genuine skill expression:

• 🏠 Plate assembly - the dish must be arranged in the correct configuration; plating mistakes reduce presentation points even with perfect ingredients
• 🏆 Presentation and scoring - the finished dish is submitted for judge-style scoring across theme accuracy, ingredient correctness, and plating quality; higher scores earn more Coins per session
• ⚔️ Direct competition - 10-player servers let players see rival progress in real time, adding a competitive awareness layer to the preparation pressure
• 🎭 Mukbang Mode - an alternate freeplay mode that shifts the objective from competitive cooking to eating-based challenges, tying into the food content creator aesthetic

Coins are the primary currency, earned from dish scores and spent on kitchen upgrades (faster ovens, better tools), recipe unlocks (more dish options for better theme matching), and chef cosmetics.
