Core Factory

Core Factory is a heat-driven incremental factory game on Roblox developed by Corticular where players generate immense Heat, extract powerful Cores from that Heat, and build an automated factory across seven ice islands. Launched in February 2022, it has accumulated 1.3 million visits with a dedicated incremental game audience drawn by its depth - over 200 upgrades and a discovery-based Core attribute system that rivals the most complex factory games on the platform.

The factory loop spans resource generation, machine optimization, and island-by-island expansion:

• 💰 Heat generation - the raw input resource; machines generate Heat passively and feed it into processing chains
• 💎 Core extraction - Heat is processed into Cores; each Core carries unique attributes drawn from a massive Index of possible combinations
• 🗺️ Seven ice islands - distinct factory zones each with unique machine types, resource nodes, and upgrade unlocks
• 💎 Core ascension - upgrade Core attributes and unlock special combinations for the highest-tier progression content
• ⚔️ Inverts - dangerous enemies encountered on the islands; fighting them provides rewards and is the main combat activity
• 🏆 200+ upgrade tree - spanning machine efficiency, conversion rates, island unlocks, and production chain automation

Three currencies fund different upgrade tracks: Shards and Matter are crafting resources for machine upgrades, while Corebux covers prestige-level unlocks. Joining the Corticular Roblox group grants a free permanent 10% Luck boost that affects drop rates and upgrade outcomes across all systems.

Corticular has announced Core Factory is entering legacy status with Core Factory 2 as the planned successor, but the current game remains feature-complete and fully playable. A tribute code called Orbmemorial was added to honor a community member - a gesture that reflects the close relationship between the developer and the Core Factory player base.
