Da Hood

Da Hood is one of Roblox's longest-running open-world street-life games, drawing from Grand Theft Auto's sandbox chaos. Players choose between criminal and police factions in a persistent city filled with bank robberies, gang wars, street fights, and spontaneous PvP. Developed by Da Hood Entertainment and launched January 2019, it has accumulated nearly 3 billion visits across seven years of continuous updates and remains one of the most recognizable titles on the platform.

Two factions compete in the same persistent city with opposing goals and distinct mechanics:

• ⚔️ Criminals - rob banks, ransack shops, and punch ATMs for DHC while managing a Wanted level that attracts police attention and bounty hunters
• 💼 DHPD - join at the Police Station, receive a Patrol Car Cruiser, and earn bounties by arresting criminals with cuffs; executing without cuffs gets you automatically kicked off the force
• 💪 Muscle system - buy Weights at the Gym to increase melee damage, HP, and character size; eat Lettuce to reduce Muscle for fine-tuned builds
• ⚔️ Gun saves - equipped weapons persist between sessions but are lost permanently on death, on logout while KO'd, or when ammo runs out
• 🏆 Weaving - a timed dodge during blocking that negates 100% of incoming damage; the core skill gap between veterans and newcomers
• 💰 Cash drop - players drop 30% of their carried DHC on death, which any player can collect

The weapon arsenal spans pistols, shotguns, SMGs, auto rifles, burst rifles, snipers, and heavies like the Flamethrower and RPG. Servers hold 45 players, ensuring gang alliances, betrayals, and faction wars are constant. Accounts must be at least 10 days old to play - a deliberate filter that maintains the committed player culture.

Da Hood has one of the most extensive code archives on Roblox with over 160 historical codes, new codes releasing around every major holiday, and some of the highest single-code DHC payouts on the platform.
