Destroy!

Destroy! is an open-beta superhero destruction sandbox on Roblox developed by YGDS, released in August 2025. Players choose a power set and use it to demolish entire city districts, collecting Fragments from the wreckage to unlock abilities. With nearly 1.9 million visits and a 93.8% approval rating, it has earned unusually strong community reception for a game still in beta.

Players pick one of five distinct power sets, enter a destructible city map, and tear through buildings and structures collecting Fragments. Each power plays completely differently and rewards mastering a specific approach to destruction:

• ⚔️ Super-Human - raw physical strength and melee-focused demolition
• ⚔️ Green Lantern - DC-inspired energy constructs and projectiles
• ⚔️ Thunder - lightning and electrical area-of-effect attacks
• ⚔️ Blazing Fist - fire-powered melee with burning effects
• ⚔️ Jack-O-Lantern - Halloween and fire-themed abilities

Fragments collected from destroyed buildings unlock abilities within your chosen power tree. Cash earned from destruction funds new power purchases and upgrades. XP advances your overall player level while Mastery tracks proficiency with a specific power - players who commit to one set unlock its deeper tiers faster than those who switch frequently. Dimensional Fractures are special world events that spawn across city districts and reward exclusive costumes when opened.

As an open beta, Destroy! is actively expanding. The strong approval rate suggests the core destruction feel is already polished. It shares competitive DNA with games like Superhero City but focuses more tightly on per-power identity and Mastery progression.
