About Destruction Simulator
Solo developer silky_dev created Destruction Simulator, a Roblox physics destruction game where players collect explosive weapons and obliterate buildings across detailed destructible environments. It won the 2019 Bloxy Award for Favorite Breakout Game - Roblox's official recognition of the year's best breakout title - and has accumulated over 560 million visits and 4.59 million favorites, placing it among the top most-favorited games ever published on the platform.
The core loop is pure escalating destruction. Blow up structures to earn Coins, spend Coins on bigger weapons, unlock new destruction zones with harder physics environments:
- ๐ Explosive Arsenal - rocket launchers, bombs, and a range of devices each with distinct blast radii and visual effects
- ๐บ๏ธ Destruction Zones - named areas including the Volcano Area and Classic Doomspire Area, each offering distinct structural targets
- ๐ฐ XP and Levels - experience earned from destruction gates access to higher-tier weapons; leveling up is the primary progression challenge
- ๐ Rebirth System - a prestige mechanic that resets XP progress in exchange for permanent bonuses on future playthroughs
- ๐ฐ Coins - primary currency earned from destruction, spent on better weapons and upgrades
The physics engine is the star of the experience. Buildings crumble, fall apart, and shatter with convincing chain-reaction realism - the developer warns about device lag because the physics simulation is genuinely computationally intensive. Servers hold 8 players for focused sessions.
Over 42 expired codes span from the 2018 launch through late 2025, documenting one of the richest code histories on the platform. No currently active codes exist as of April 2026, but silky_dev has historically released new codes at major updates and seasonal events through @silkygames on Twitter/X and Instagram.
