Dragon Ball Evolution

Dragon Ball Evolution is a single-player open-world action RPG on Roblox built inside the Dragon Ball universe, developed by Evolution Artworks and led by AetheriusTV. With a maximum of one player per server, every session runs as a private solo experience on Roblox infrastructure. Launched in July 2020 and still in Alpha 3.8+, it has accumulated nearly 55 million visits and 132K+ favorites across five years of iterative development - an impressive run for a game built and maintained by a small team.

The core loop is quest-driven stat grinding on an open Earth map. Players complete NPC quests to earn Zeni and XP, allocate stat points into Strength, Defense, Ki, and Speed, then grind toward the thresholds required for each transformation tier. Combat uses a direct control scheme - punches, Ki Blasts, Dashes, Charges, and flight are all bound to individual keys, giving it a faster feel than most Roblox RPGs. Progress toward stronger forms runs through two separate tracks:

• ⚔️ Ki combat system - click for punch combos, E for Ki Blast (tap or hold to charge), Q to Dash, X to Charge, Space to fly across the Earth map
• 💎 Transformation chain - climb from Kaioken through Super Saiyan, SSJ2, SSJ3, Super Saiyan Blue, and Super Saiyan God, each locked behind specific stat thresholds
• ⏳ Evo Boost - a parallel progression multiplier that accelerates form evolution speed independently of standard XP gain
• 🗺️ Multi-zone world - Earth open world, TIME CHAMBER (Hyperbolic Time Chamber), Akumo boss arena, and a dedicated character customization sub-place
• 💎 75 gamepasses - deep character pack catalog including the Vegeta Pack (Ultra Ego), LSSJ Pack (Legendary Super Saiyan + IKARI forms), Zamasu Pack, and Infinite Goofy Pack, each unlocking exclusive transformations and skills
• 🏆 Raids - multiplayer boss events with ranked rewards for top damage dealers

Reaching Super Saiyan God requires 1.25 million in all stats plus a Zenkai Boost - a meaningful late-game investment. Roblox Premium players receive an experimental 3D clothing system and enhanced stat bonuses. The Alpha to Beta transition is in development with no confirmed release date.
