Emergency Response: Liberty County

Emergency Response: Liberty County - commonly called ERLC - is one of the most detailed emergency services roleplay simulations on Roblox, developed by the Police Roleplay Community group since November 2018. Set in the fictional Liberty County, up to 40 players share an open world across six team roles. With over 1.46 billion visits and 2.75 million favorites, it ranks among Roblox's most consistently well-reviewed roleplay games, holding a 90.9% approval rating across more than 1.25 million votes.

Players choose from six teams with distinct progression systems, vehicle fleets, and gameplay loops:

• 💼 Police Officer - responds to crimes, makes arrests, and patrols the county; premium SWAT pass adds armored vehicles and heavy weapons
• 💼 Sheriff Deputy - shares an XP pool with Police, focuses on rural county patrol zones
• 💼 Firefighter - handles structure and vehicle fires with a separate XP track and a full ladder truck fleet
• 💼 DOT (Department of Transportation) - repairs tires, tows vehicles, and manages road hazards
• 🎭 Civilian - works jobs like farming, hospital duty, and truck driving to earn Job Points rather than XP
• ⚔️ Criminal - robs banks, jewelry stores, and businesses through a reputation-based system with a 5-star wanted level

XP earned from role-appropriate actions unlocks department ranks that grant upgraded vehicles, equipment loadouts, and new abilities. Cash is the universal currency spent on personal vehicles and loadout customization. The vehicle system features accurately modeled emergency vehicles with ELS (Emergency Lighting System) configurations.

What sets ERLC apart is its Private Server API V2, released February 2026, which gives organized roleplay communities access to live player location and vehicle data for building external CAD dispatch tools and admin dashboards. Liberty County also transitions through four seasonal maps each year - Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
