About Epic Minigames
Epic Minigames is one of the longest-running and most-visited party games on Roblox, cycling players through 140+ unique minigames across obstacle courses, survival challenges, battle arenas, racing, trivia, and luck events. Created by solo developer TypicalType in July 2015, it has accumulated over 2.3 billion visits and stands as the definitive benchmark for minigame compilations on the platform.
Players join servers of up to 12, vote on the next minigame from a presented selection, compete through a 1-3 minute round, and earn Coins based on placement. Coins are spent in the cosmetics shop on:
- π Gear - held props including seasonal holiday items, bats, staffs, and themed equipment
- π Pets - companion models that follow your character, many code-exclusive
- β¨ Effects - visual particle trails and auras displayed around the character
- π Titles - text labels shown under the username, unlocked at level milestones
- β³ Epic Party mode - a board game with dice rolls and Crystal scoring alongside the main rotation
Progression is built around a Level system where accumulated Coins push you through named tiers: Minigamer, Talented, Skilled, Seasoned, Expert, Pro, Legend, Myth, Demigod, and Epic at level 40. Reaching level 24 unlocks access to Pro servers for higher-level players. All progression is cosmetic - new players compete on equal footing with veterans in every minigame.
Epic Minigames defines the Roblox party game genre and has been actively maintained solo by TypicalType for over a decade, an extremely rare achievement on the platform. The current Easter 2026 update added a seasonal Epic Faberge egg hunt alongside the rotating minigame schedule.
