Feather Family [Galah]

Feather Family is the premier bird roleplay and life simulation on Roblox by the verified The Feather Family group, running since January 2018. Players choose from dozens of real bird species, customize their appearance, hatch from eggs, grow through life stages, build nests, and join flocks in an open-world bird ecosystem. The current version is named [Galah] after the Galah Cockatoo added in the most recent Blackbird update, following the game's tradition of naming versions after newly introduced species. With 1.36 billion visits and 2.1 million favorites, it is one of the most successful animal roleplay experiences on Roblox. Servers hold 60 players, enabling genuine flock dynamics with many birds sharing one environment.

The life simulation runs across four interconnected systems:

The Blackbird update added the Climb ability for birds with zygodactyl feet - parrots, toucans, woodpeckers, Quetzal, and others now automatically cling to vertical surfaces after flying. The next update adds an Unlockable Swift species.

Feather Family's biology accuracy and species depth attracts ornithology-enthusiast players unusual for Roblox. It is comparable to Creatures of Sonaria in the animal roleplay genre but with an exclusively avian focus and a stronger life-sim structure built around eggs, growth stages, and nest-building.
