Fisch is an open-world fishing and exploration game on Roblox developed by the Fisching group (led by creator WoozyNate), launched October 5, 2024. It is one of the fastest-growing games ever released on the platform, reaching 4.38 billion visits in under two years with 25K-80K concurrent players and a 90% approval rating.
The fishing loop centers on a skill-based reeling minigame: hold to cast, wait for a bite, then keep a white bar aligned with a moving blue line to complete the catch. Caught fish are sold to merchants for C$ (coins) that fund rod upgrades, bait, gliders, and boats. The world expands with every major update, currently spanning 35+ bestiary zones across islands, underwater zones, and the volatile Everturn Forest that reshapes each season:

Rod progression is central to long-term play. Seven rod stats - including Lure Speed, Control, Luck, and Resilience - determine what fish you can catch and how. Endgame rods like the Destiny Rod (190,000 C$) and Ruinous Oath (100% Crimson Cavern Bestiary) sit behind significant completion milestones. The Tidefall underwater zone added in January 2026 introduced spears and crab cages as new catch mechanics, and Everturn Forest (March 2026) adds a world that physically reshapes itself between seasons.
