About Friday Night Bloxxin'

What the game is about and where to play it

Friday Night Bloxxin' is a rhythm game on Roblox by FNB Fan Club that adapts Friday Night Funkin' (FNF) into a multiplayer Roblox experience with cosmetic customization and 450+ playable mods. Players hit directional notes in sync with falling arrows, competing for scores in lobbies of up to 30 players. Launched in September 2021, it has 127 million visits and 452K favorites with an 84.5% approval rating - one of the most successful FNF adaptations on Roblox. The original FNF developers gave explicit permission for their work to be used.

The core mechanic: notes fall toward the judgment line and you press the matching direction (WASD by default) with accurate timing. Hitting notes builds your score; missing them pushes your health bar against your opponent. The player who depletes the other's health bar wins the round. Beyond the standard 4-arrow layout, the game supports 6-arrow and 9-arrow configurations for harder songs:

  • ⚔️ Compete head-to-head in multiplayer lobbies where both players play the same song simultaneously
  • 💎 Unlock hundreds of mods including VS Whitty, The Tricky Mod, Triple Trouble, and the community Bopcity update
  • 💰 Earn Points through song performance and codes; spend them on Arrow Skins and character Animations
  • 🏆 Full Combo (FC) every note in a song without missing - the core skill achievement tracked by badge
  • 🎭 Deathmatch mode eliminates the losing player, adding stakes to each match

The game was announced as discontinued in January 2025 but received a community-driven final update (Bopcity mod) in September 2025, and continues receiving small patches. The shop and settings are both at the top-left corner of the screen.

Ask in our Discord
What is Friday Night Bloxxin'?
Friday Night Bloxxin' is a multiplayer rhythm game on Roblox inspired by Friday Night Funkin', developed by FNB Fan Club. Players hit arrow notes in sync with music, compete for scores in lobbies, and unlock cosmetic Arrow Skins and Animations with earned Points. It has 127 million visits since its September 2021 launch.
Who made Friday Night Bloxxin'?
Friday Night Bloxxin' was created by the FNB Fan Club developer group and launched in September 2021. The original Friday Night Funkin' developers gave explicit permission for their work to be used. The game was officially announced as discontinued in January 2025 but continues receiving community patches.
How do the arrow key configurations work?
The game supports three note layouts: standard 4-arrow (WASD by default), 6-arrow, and 9-arrow. Most songs use the 4-arrow layout. 6-key and 9-key modes add extra columns for harder songs and community mods, giving advanced rhythm game players a higher skill ceiling.
What are Points used for in Friday Night Bloxxin'?
Points are earned by completing songs and redeeming codes. They are spent in the Shop at the top-left corner on cosmetic Arrow Skins that change how note arrows look during gameplay, and on character Animations. Points do not affect scoring or accuracy.
What is Deathmatch mode in Friday Night Bloxxin'?
Deathmatch is a mode variant where the losing player - the one whose health bar reaches zero - is eliminated from the round. Standard mode is competitive scoring without elimination, but Deathmatch adds real consequences to each note miss.
