Hide and Seek Extreme

Hide and Seek Extreme is one of Roblox's most iconic party games, created by solo developer Tim7775 in January 2015. With over 3.35 billion visits and 6.82 million favorites, it ranks among the most-visited titles on the entire platform - a 10-year legacy built on a single classic premise.

Each round assigns one player as "It" while the remaining 13 become hiders. Hiders get a 60-second Head Start before the seeker is released, then "It" has four minutes to tag every player. A stud-distance indicator displays how close the seeker is to each hider, building tension as the clock winds down:

• ⚔️ Glue - drops sticky patches that stun hiders for 8 seconds on contact (Emma, Ethan, Ice Bear)
• ⚔️ Camera - places up to two remote-view cameras for area surveillance (Panda, Jacob)
• ⚔️ Sprint - temporary speed burst to close distance on fleeing hiders (Grizzly, Jake, Sophia)
• 💎 Stun - area-of-effect shockwave freezing nearby hiders; exclusive to the Yeti character

The It Character system is what elevates the game beyond basic tag. Seeker characters are purchased with Coins from the in-game shop, each bringing a distinct ability that changes hunting strategy. Jake and Emma are free; all others require Coins earned by surviving rounds (+10 per survival), tagging hiders (+5 per tag), or collecting pickups on maps. The Triple Coin Value gamepass triples all Coin earnings for 30 Robux.

Hiders can press T to Taunt - a risky move that reveals their position but can bait the seeker away from other hiders. Strategic misdirection between hiders is part of the informal meta.
