Hide and Seek One Color

Hide and Seek One Color is a casual party game on Roblox developed by SAND4 where the classic hide-and-seek formula gets a color-matching twist. Rather than finding any hiding spot, hiders must position themselves near an object that matches a specific color issued by the game - effectively camouflaging by blending into a single designated hue. The game has accumulated 57 million visits since launching in February 2023, with up to 15 players per server.

Each round begins with the game issuing a color prompt to all hiders. Players then race to scan the map and find an object of that exact color before time runs out:

• 🎭 Seeker role - find and catch all players who failed to hide near the prompted color
• 🏠 Color items as environmental anchors - map props of each color serve as hiding cover

The challenge scales with how rare the prompted color is on each specific map. A round prompting a common color like red or blue gives hiders more options, while an uncommon color forces players to search further and commit faster. Seekers must identify which items have suspicious players nearby rather than visible ones.

There is no formal currency, level, or cosmetic system - Hide and Seek One Color is a purely skill-and-fun experience with no progression gates. SAND4 also develops Hide and Seek Transform, which uses a prop morphing mechanic on the same party-game foundation.
