Island of Move

Island of Move is an official Roblox educational event game created by the Roblox Build It, Play It initiative in July 2020, designed to teach players how to create animations in Roblox Studio. Players earn virtual prizes - real Roblox avatar accessories that can be worn across the entire platform - by completing animation creation tutorials linked to the Roblox Developer Hub. With 98.1M+ visits and 431K+ favorites, it remains one of Roblox's most successful educational event games.

The game itself is deliberately simple, with its primary value being the free avatar accessories players can claim:

• 💎 Head Slime Accessory, The Bird Says Shoulder Pet, The Kinetic Staff

The original event ran July to August 2020 as part of the Roblox Developer Conference animation curriculum, with brand partnerships spanning Walmart, Amazon, and TikTok. Many event items from 2020 have since expired, but a core set of avatar accessories has remained claimable for years.

Island of Move has not been updated since March 2022 and has no gameplay depth beyond the click counter. It functions as a free avatar item collection point in 2026.
