KOYA DANCE STUDIO

KOYA DANCE STUDIO is a K-pop themed dance and roleplay game on Roblox by KOYA CREATIVE where players perform as K-pop stars, collect photocards, form idol groups, and compete in dance competitions. With over 120 million visits and 2,000-4,000 concurrent players since its March 2024 launch, it is one of the leading K-pop experience games on the platform.

The game distinguishes itself from generic dance titles through its photocard collection system, idol group creation mechanic, and regular song rotation across three genre categories. The progression loop is built around leveling and collection:

• 🎭 Dance to songs across K-pop, American pop, and Vocaloid genres to earn levels and rewards
• 💎 Collect photocards associated with K-pop acts and trade them with other players
• 🎭 Create or join idol groups with other players, mimicking the structure of real K-pop groups
• 🏆 Compete in server-wide dance competitions to showcase your performance
• 🗺️ Visit the Pick A Side sub-place to declare a favorite idol bias and meet fans who share it

Leveling earns one level per minute normally, accelerated to one level per 20 seconds with the x3 Levels pass. Songs rotate regularly and the Early Song Access pass unlocks two to four exclusive new tracks per week before they enter the main rotation. KOYA CREATIVE founders Lumeaux (Tech Director) and Rezient (Creative Director) have built a game that functions as both a dance venue and a K-pop fan community hub, with the Pick A Side sub-place creating natural spaces for community discussion around shared idol preferences.
