Light Game

Light Game is a Squid Game-inspired minigame collection on Roblox created by Light Game Community in October 2021. Players compete across nine deadly elimination rounds drawn directly from the Netflix series, including Red Light Green Light, Honeycomb, Tug of War, Marbles, Glass Bridge, and the Squid Game finale. With 572 million visits and a massive 25.6 million favorites - one of the highest favorites counts of any Roblox game - it captured the Squid Game cultural moment and has sustained a loyal audience through continuous expansion. The 70-player server cap enables large-scale competitive rounds.

Nine game modes cycle through each session as players attempt to survive:

• ⚔️ Red Light Green Light - freeze when the doll turns; caught moving means elimination
• 🗺️ Glass Bridge - cross alternating safe and breaking panels with no second chances
• ⚔️ Night Brawl - combat elimination round in a darkened arena
• ⚔️ Tug of War - team competition pulling opponents off the bridge
• 🎭 Marbles - wagering marbles against opponents in mini-competitions
• 🎭 Mingle - group elimination where players must form exact-size groups on command

Cash earned from surviving rounds funds in-game purchases. Gamepasses unlock Guard and Front Man roles that put players on the enforcer side with weapons and immunity rather than competing as contestants.

Light Game competes with other Squid Game titles on Roblox and has grown its mode count from around three at launch to nine in 2025, with Mingle and Penta being the most recently added. Compared to single-mode Squid Game experiences, its breadth makes it the closest Roblox equivalent to the full show.
