LuoBu Transformation Night is a closed cooperative social event experience produced by Roblox.cn, the official Chinese Roblox platform arm, for its autumn 2021 promotional season. Known alternatively as Costume Party, it drew 57 million visits and 126,000 favorites across two live phases - an exceptional result for a finite-window event built around the Luobu platform branding.

The experience centered on a virtual costume party where players dressed up, danced on stage, and completed cooperative missions to accumulate Shining Balls - the event currency exchangeable for limited cosmetic rewards:

• 🎭 Join the dance stage to earn Shining Balls through group participation
• 🎭 Complete cooperative mini-games with other players to earn additional balls and event badges
• 💎 Exchange accumulated Shining Balls at reward booths for limited-time cosmetic prizes
• ⏳ Participate across Phase A (October 25 to November 15 2021) and Phase B (November 15 to December 6 2021)

Phase B expanded the experience with 16 new cooperative mini-games requiring active group coordination - shifting the loop beyond passive dancing into team-based challenges with escalating difficulty. Event badges from Phase B completions were only obtainable during the live window.

LuoBu Transformation Night is now a closed archive. No progression or reward system is active. It remains historically significant as a large-scale first-party Chinese Roblox promotional event and one of the most-visited social event experiences ever produced for the Chinese Roblox catalogue.
