Make a Cake!

Make a Cake! is one of Roblox's oldest continuously active experiences, a cooperative factory simulation created in November 2010 by solo developer thebenster. With over 224 million visits, 1.29 million favorites, and a community wiki spanning nearly 2,000 pages, it is a genre-defining title with no close competitor for its combination of production-chain gameplay, deep exploration, and long-running lore.

The core factory loop moves through eight stations in sequence - Mixing, Rising, Shaping, Baking, Frosting, Topping, and the Confetti Cannon celebration - each requiring player action to advance the cake forward:

• 🏠 Mix batter, shape it, and bake it through the factory stations in sequence
• 🗺️ Explore Chocolate Island, the Ratacombs, the Research Facility, and the Tiny City
• 🏆 Compete weekly to earn The Baking Elite badge among the top 100 bakers
• ⏳ Participate in seasonal events including Cakefest, Egg Hunt, and the Blackout event
• 💎 Reach level 100 to unlock the Hall of the True Baker and its prestigious badge
• 🎭 Cooperate server-wide through the Batch system for bonus XP on large cake runs

XP earned from each cake ranks players up toward level 100 - the endgame milestone that unlocks The Hall of the True Baker and the coveted True Baker badge. The Batch system rewards server-wide cooperation: when ten or more cakes are completed together, all contributors receive bonus XP, with batches of 50 or more awarding a special badge.

Beyond the factory floor, Make a Cake! is packed with secrets, NPC quests, hidden collectibles, and recurring events. Make a Cake 4 is currently in development, promising continued updates to one of Roblox's most enduring cooperative experiences.
