Multiverse Battlegrounds is a superhero and villain fighting game by New Project2 where players select a character from across Marvel, DC, and anime universes - including fighters from Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia, the Avengers, and Teen Titans - and battle using each character's unique ability kit. Launched in August 2022, the game accumulated 197M+ visits and 141.8K favorites before entering a post-peak maintenance phase.

The core progression loop centers on unlocking the full character roster through open-world PvP:

Coins unlock new characters, and each character plays differently enough that finding your ideal fighter is the real end goal.
