About Operation One
Operation One is a dark-themed tactical 4v4 first-person shooter on Roblox developed by Colorful Squares, inspired by Rainbow Six Siege. Launching in late July 2025 and still in early access, it has surpassed 193 million visits and regularly draws 4K-8K concurrent players - one of the fastest-growing tactical shooters in Roblox history.
Players split into Attackers and Defenders in round-based matches over a target building, where the lean mechanic, destructible walls, and directional audio define every encounter:
- ⚔️ 4v4 round-based matches with Attacker and Defender roles
- ⚔️ Corner-lean mechanic (Q/E) rewards positioning and information control over raw reaction speed
- 🗺️ Destructible wall panels create new sightlines and sound pathways mid-round
- 🗺️ Directional audio tracks enemy footsteps and reloads through walls and breached holes
- ⚔️ Hacking Tool accesses fixed cameras for remote surveillance; Crowbar removes defender barricades
- ⚔️ Vector SMG, rifles, and shotguns with attachment options round out the weapon roster
A formal progression and currency system is still in development, with the redemption UI already built into the game ahead of a future milestone launch.
Operation One competes directly with Operations: Siege for the Rainbow Six Siege-inspired tactical FPS niche on Roblox, with Operation One's faster rise suggesting a wider casual audience alongside its dedicated tactical community.
