Prison Life is one of Roblox's most-played games - a classic two-team open-world experience by solo developer Aesthetical where prisoners attempt to escape a facility while guards work to stop them. Created in May 2014 and continuously maintained for over a decade, it has accumulated 2.87 billion visits and 5.82 million favorites, placing it among the top all-time titles on the platform.

The two-team structure creates asymmetric tension that has kept players returning for over a decade:

Economy is entirely through gamepasses. The Mafia Pass (300R$) gives prisoners an FAL rifle, bulletproof vest, and C4 for barrier-breaking. The Riot Police Access pass (300R$) gives guards an M4A1, riot shield, and full kevlar. The Sniper Pass (250R$) added in January 2026 offers an M700 rifle and revolver with light armor.

Prison Life predates Jailbreak and remains distinct through its grittier, less scripted approach to the prison escape genre.
