About REBOUND
REBOUND is a competitive 3D ball sport game on Roblox developed by rebound.dev, where players score goals using melee attacks, special abilities, and split-second timing. Often compared to Rocket League but with humanoid characters instead of cars, it has earned a 96.1% approval rating and over 12.8 million visits since its November 2023 launch. The game is currently in BETA with active ongoing development.
Matches run with up to 8 players per server, making individual skill highly impactful in every game. Players control the ball through three core attacks - a normal hit (left click) for repositioning and redirects, an Uppercut (E key) that launches the ball upward for aerial setups, and a Heavy Hit (right click) with a 5-second cooldown for powerful long-range shots - plus special abilities like Torpedo that add ranged goal-scoring options. The Styles system introduced a strategic layer where each player equips one passive modifier:
- š Competitive 3v3 mode and a Pro bracket for higher-level matchmaking
- āļø Swift Striker grants speed boosts near the ball for aggressive ball-chasing
- āļø Chrono Master reduces ability cooldowns and extends durations for utility-focused play
- š Goal explosions and weapon skins as cosmetic rewards with no gameplay advantage
- š° Gems as the cosmetic currency earned from matches and codes
Gems are spent in the shop on weapon skins, goal explosions, and emotes - all purely cosmetic. Code rewards give fixed Gem amounts of 300 to 600 per code, letting players unlock cosmetics faster. With only 2 active codes and no expired codes, REBOUND keeps its code pool small and meaningful. For other competitive sports games on Roblox, the genre remains relatively niche and REBOUND stands as one of the highest-rated options available.
