RO-BOTS [BETA] is a sci-fi survival and lab-management game on Roblox developed by The Lab's Experiment, launched in August 2017 and running for over eight years before being officially discontinued. The game accumulated 65.3 million visits and 341,000 favorites - a remarkable total for a science-horror simulation title that always carried the BETA label.

Players take the role of researchers in a world overrun by zombie-infected robots, working to contain the outbreak and find a cure. The infected Ro-Bots fight back against every attempt to keep them locked down, and a single mistake can unravel the whole lab:

The 8-player server cap creates tense, intimate sessions where one door left open triggers a chain reaction of chaos. Custom viruses interact with the AI in unpredictable ways, so no two sessions play out identically. PvE and PvP modes coexist in the same server, meaning researchers can turn on each other mid-crisis while infection spreads around them.

RO-BOTS [BETA] is a legacy title and one of the earlier examples of the science-horror simulation genre on Roblox. It is discontinued as of late 2025 but remains accessible for nostalgic players.
