RoVille

RoVille is a city life sandbox simulation on Roblox developed by Team Crystal! where players build homes, work jobs to earn RoVille Cash, buy vehicles, run businesses, and roleplay in a customizable suburban world. Created in November 2018 and still actively updated in 2026, it is a veteran of the Roblox town-and-city genre with 244.6 million visits and 1.45 million favorites accumulated across more than seven years.

The day-to-day loop is open-ended. Players arrive in RoVille with an empty plot and a starter job, earn RoVille Cash by working NPC job stations, and reinvest that cash into their world. Upgrading your home (up to 20 floors with the right gamepasses), decorating rooms, purchasing vehicles, and eventually opening a business on your plot are the layered goals that veteran players juggle simultaneously:

• 💼 Jobs and graduation - earn RoVille Cash from NPC work; the Graduation gamepass unlocks higher-paying positions

• 💰 Marketplace - upload your completed house to sell to other players or buy homes others have built
• 💎 Businesses - purchase a business license to run a shop on your plot for additional income
• 🏆 Heist - rob the bank for bonus cash, with a Double Heist Cash gamepass doubling the payout

The Marketplace is RoVille's signature feature - players upload houses they have built for sale, and others can browse and purchase them. The Buyer badge has been awarded over 1.1 million times, reflecting how central the trading economy is to the experience. Hidden collectibles like Dinosaur bones scattered across the map and seasonal events (Halloween candy collecting, Christmas 2020 live event) give players goals outside the core tycoon loop.

RoVille occupies the same space as Brookhaven RP in the Roblox town-and-city genre but leans more heavily into building depth and the player-to-player marketplace, making it the stronger choice for players who want to express creativity with their plot.
