RoTube Life (RTL1) is a Roblox content creator life simulator developed by Play! Studios that launched in March 2022 and was officially discontinued in June 2025 when the developer released the sequel RoTube Life 2. Players build a virtual YouTube-style career by recording, editing, and uploading videos to grow their Subscriber count, upgrade their studio setup, and expand their virtual home. Despite its discontinued status, RTL1 remains fully playable and accumulated 327 million visits and 921K favorites over its active years - making it one of the most successful content creator simulators on Roblox.

The core gameplay loop runs through a video production pipeline: record a video in your recording area, edit it with your available tools, then upload it to earn Cash and Subscribers. The quality of your setup - camera, microphone, lighting, and PC components - directly affects how many Subscribers and how much Cash each video earns. Cash is spent on setup upgrades, housing expansions, and Chests (gacha loot boxes containing PC parts):
