About Seek
Seek is an asymmetric hide-and-seek party game on Roblox developed by Crazay Seek (Buzz, Syn, and Gab), launched in November 2024. The twist on the classic format: one player hides while an entire team of seekers works together to find them before time runs out. A key pressure mechanic - the timer speeds up as the round progresses - means early-game patience from seekers is dangerous, while the hider must keep ahead of an accelerating clock. Since launch the game has reached over 52 million visits with 38K favorites.
Each match splits players into the lone Hider and a seeker team of up to 24 others. As the Hider, the goal is to stay concealed until the timer expires using positioning, blending, and movement. As a Seeker, team coordination to cover ground quickly becomes essential before the clock shifts into high gear:
- πΊοΈ Hider Role - Play alone against the seeker team, staying hidden until the timer expires
- π Seeker Team - Coordinate with teammates to locate the single hider before time runs out
- π° Coins - Currency collected in-game to unlock abilities and cosmetics
- βοΈ Abilities - Purchasable skills that give Hiders and Seekers gameplay advantages
- β³ Timer Speedup - The round clock accelerates over time, increasing pressure for both roles
Coins fund progression between matches. Seven gamepasses extend the experience with permanent abilities and cosmetic options. Premium Roblox subscribers receive exclusive perks and faster reward accumulation, making the game accessible to everyone but rewarding for premium players.
Seek sits in the casual party game space alongside other hide-and-seek Roblox titles, but the lone-hider-vs-team format and the accelerating timer give it a distinct tension that sets it apart from standard prop hunt games.
