About Emotes Testing
Emotes Testing is a social emote sandbox on Roblox by Byteonix where players can freely try out hundreds of dance animations without any progression gates or currency requirements. Launched in February 2026, it has grown to 50.4M+ visits and 576K+ favorites in just a few months - driven by its core differentiator: a real-time emote sync system that turns solo dancing into group choreography.
The sandbox has no objectives. Players browse the full emote catalog, play any animation on their character, and tap other players to synchronize moves in real time. The result is spontaneous group dances that happen without any coordination setup:
- 🎭 Emote Catalog - hundreds of free dance and animation types organized by style and effect
- 🏆 Sync System - tap any player to mirror their emote in real time, enabling group choreography
- 🗺️ Effects Emotes - a subset of emotes that include particle effects and visual add-ons
- 🎭 Avatar Editor - built-in tool to apply morphs or customize your character's look mid-session
Some emotes include particle effects and visual overlays, adding another layer of variety beyond basic dance animations. Emote Packs bundle exclusive emotes for players who want to go beyond the free catalog - individual emotes can also be unlocked separately.
With 25 players per server, the space stays lively enough for spontaneous sync chains without feeling crowded. Byteonix, a subsidiary of Build2Inspire, designed all animations in-house. The sandbox works across all devices including mobile, tablet, and console. Content creators use it heavily as a clean staging environment for dance and music videos.
