SkyWars

SkyWars is a last-player-standing PvP game on Roblox inspired by the classic Minecraft SkyWars format. Developed by Voxels Studio and launched in January 2022, it has accumulated nearly 400 million visits and is currently in Season 3. Players spawn on individual floating islands, loot chests for weapons and armor, bridge across the void to other islands, and fight until only one player remains. With 27 maps and servers of up to 40 players, it is the definitive Roblox take on the skywars genre.

Each match opens with a scramble to loot the chests on your starting island. Chests contain swords, pickaxes, armor, building blocks, and potions organized across five equipment tiers - from Bronze at the bottom through Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Onyx at the top. After looting, bridging to other islands or the central mid-island is the core skill that separates experienced players from beginners:

• ⚔️ Swords - primary combat weapons, each tier dealing significantly more damage
• ⚔️ Pickaxes - used to destroy enemy bridges and block placements
• 💎 Onyx gear - the highest equipment tier; full Onyx heavily favors you against lower-tier opponents
• 🏆 Solo, Duos, Duels, EggWars - four distinct competitive modes served by separate sub-servers
• ⏳ Season Pass - tiered seasonal progression with cosmetic rewards and rank resets

Four potion types add tactical depth: Speed Boost and Jump Boost last 30 seconds and support aggressive bridging, while Life-steal and Shield last 60 seconds for extended combat. The void beneath all islands is the environmental threat - falling in means instant elimination with no respawn.

All SkyWars codes are purely cosmetic, giving character skins like Dragon, Ice Knight, Penguin, and Vampire. All 20 active codes appear permanent, making the full cosmetic catalog redeemable at zero cost by any new player. The Discord at discord.gg/robloxskywars also distributes capes and cages through server verification, extending the cosmetic system beyond codes alone.
