Slayer Battlegrounds

Slayer Battlegrounds is a Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) inspired PvP fighting game on Roblox developed by EOM STUDIO. Players equip breathing techniques and sword styles drawn directly from the anime, then battle other players in open arenas and a dedicated 1v1 mode. Launched September 2023, it has grown to 89.3 million visits and maintains a 93.5% approval rating from over 280,000 votes - one of the strongest approval scores in the Demon Slayer genre on the platform.

The core loop starts in the lobby, where you spend Gold on the gacha system pulling for new breathing techniques and swords. Gold is earned through daily login rewards, winning PvP battles, completing daily tasks, and claiming the free pink chest near spawn which gives 1,500 Gold per session. Every ability in the game is gacha-gated with no direct purchase option:

• ⚔️ Breathing Techniques - combat ability sets based on Demon Slayer styles including Water, Flame, Thunder (Early Access), and Sound (newest release); rarer pulls have stronger moves and deeper combos
• 🏆 Open PvP Arena - enter the battleground portal for free-for-all fights; no PvE content exists beyond the lobby
• 🏆 1v1 Mode - a dedicated duel arena for focused competitive matches away from open battleground chaos
• 💰 Gold Economy - earned through combat, daily tasks, daily pink chest, and codes; spent exclusively on gacha pulls
• 💎 Gacha System - all breathing techniques and swords are pulled with Gold; rarity drives the power gap between veterans and newcomers
• 🗺️ AFK Place - a separate dedicated zone for passive Gold accumulation without active combat

The current Sound update added Sound Breathing as the newest playable technique. Thunder Breathing is in Early Access behind a 299 R$ pass. Combat runs on standard Roblox PvP controls: M1 attacks, F blocks, Q dashes, Space jumps, 1-4 for common moves, and 5 and G for high-damage ultimate moves.
